BSH wins "Supplier of the Year" for the fifth consecutive year | ||

| Munich, June 29st (bsh) For the fifth consecutive year, BSH Bosch und
Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH has received the award for "Supplier of the
Year" in the White Goods category from Euronics International. The coveted title was awarded at the Euronics Annual Event in Hamburg. Euronics, one of Europe’s leading organisations of specialist dealers in electrical and electronic products represents around 11.300 independent members. Every year, the individual stores decide on their favourite manufacturer based on various criteria including innovation, product performance, supply timelines, marketing and after sales service. | New technology center for laundry care protects jobs BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH today laid the cornerstone for its new technology center for laundry care in Berlin. Starting as early as next year, the company will use the new site to plan and develop washing machines and dryers for its manufacturing plants. BSH currently employs about 550 employees in its laundry care development and other service operations at its old location in Berlin-Gartenfeld. As early as next year they will move to the new building in Siemens' Technopark Berlin, which will provide a top-class work environment for all employees. The total investment volume for the new technology center is roughly 50 million euros. more | ||
