Changes to the BSH Board of Management

• Rudolf Klötscher will take over as CEO and Chairman of the BSH Board of Management from Matthias Metz as of October 1, 2026.
• Rudolf Klötscher stands for continuity and the consistent development of BSH.
• Matthias Metz will hand over his responsibilities as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management at his own request after four years and will leave BSH.
• Mirko Aksentijevic will be newly appointed to the BSH Board of Management.
• Alexander Dony will leave BSH.

Munich, 16.09.2026 (BSH) – Rudolf Klötscher will take over as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management of BSH as of October 1, 2026. As a member of the Board of Management and a long-standing successful leader at BSH, Klötscher is highly familiar with the company, its markets, and BSH's strategic priorities. Klötscher represents continuity, stability, and the consistent development of the company.

Rudolf Klötscher will succeed Matthias Metz, who will hand over his responsibilities as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management at his own request as of September 30, 2026, to pursue new entrepreneurial opportunities outside of BSH. In his new role, Klötscher will take over all of Metz's responsibilities and will additionally oversee the Regions of Greater China and North America. He has been a member of the BSH Board of Management since 2023 and stands for the consequent continuation of the course set.

Further personnel changes in the BSH Board of Management

At the same time, Mirko Aksentijevic will be appointed to the Board of Management as of October 1, 2026. In addition to continuing to lead the Region Europe, he will assume responsibility for the Regions Emerging Markets and India, Brand Management, and global Customer Service. He succeeds Alexander Dony, who will leave BSH by mutual agreement as of September 30, 2026.
