As the Chief Operating Officer of BSH Home Appliances, Axel Zink is responsible for all production operations, supply chain and development activities at multiple manufacturing and development sites in North America. Zink began his career as an industrial engineer and project manager with Robert Bosch in Germany. He later moved to Juarez, Mexico where he took on numerous managerial roles in manufacturing, engineering, and technical functions. In 2002 while still with Robert Bosch, Zink returned to Germany as a director in the manufacturing/strategic planning and engineering/global leadplant coordination offices. Then in 2011 he took the role of vice president of manufacturing operations and engineering powertrain products for Robert Bosch’s gasoline systems division. In 2016 he joined BSH in New Bern, N.C., as vice president of the cooking product division in North America. He also serves as member of the Board of Directors.
