Appointed to this position in September, 2018, Jesús Egido is responsible for maintaining a profitable growth strategy across BSH operations in North America. In this role, he oversees all business administration, including finance and accounting, controlling, legal and compliance, HR, IT, and other key business areas. Egido has two decades of experience within BSH organizations, beginning his tenure in the controlling department of BSH Germany (Factory Dillingen), BSH Spain (Factory La Cartuja) and the Logistics Department of BSH Spain. Later he moved to Thailand to be responsible for the Business Administration of a BSH Joint Venture with Hitachi, building a Washing Machine factory in Kabinburi. Afterward, Egido moved on to Poland, heading the Business Administration Area of the Manufacturing Site in Lodz and then returned to Spain to take over the Logistics Department for four years, leading the project to build Spain’s current central warehouse. For the past six years, he was CFO of BSH Spain, where he and his team were responsible for steering the business and restructuring areas and processes during Spain’s severe economic crisis. He also served as Member of the Board of Directors of BSH Morocco, Member of the Management Board of the German Chamber of Commerce in Spain and Executive Vice President of ECOLEC, Spain´s leading WEEE management organization.
